Employment costs
No Win No Fee
If your case has good prospects of success and is of sufficient value, we may be able to offer you representation on a No Win No Fee basis.
All Employment Tribunal cases are privately funded by each party, however, under a Contingency Fee Agreement, we are able to represent you without asking you to pay a penny until we have recovered compensation on your behalf.
At that point, we will then deduct our fees from the compensation that we have recovered.
All our fees will be on a % basis so that we will only take a small proportion of your compensation. If you lose then you don’t pay us legal fees.
Fixed Price
The Fixed Price Law Option is ideal for cases that will settle quickly or if you want complete control over your costs.
You pay us a fixed fee, agreed beforehand, to carry out each part of your Employment Tribunal claim.
For example, you would pay us £150 to draft a letter to try and settle your claim before issuing proceedings. Then if we had to issue proceedings, you would pay us £300 to issue proceedings on your behalf in the Employment Tribunal.
You can stop at any time, or, if your case settles, you do not have to pay us a penny more and you get to keep 100% of your compensation.
Legal Expenses Insurance
Many people have access to free legal insurance and don’t even know it! In your car or household insurance policy there may be a clause entitling you to have your legal bills paid for by your insurer if you bring a claim in an Employment Tribunal! If you think that you have this benefit, please inform your Law Options employment lawyer and they will handle the paperwork.
